The Hawks announced the signing of Marcus Derrickson on Friday. The forward agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract, which allows Derrickson to attend training camp and be eligible for the Hawks’ G League team.

Derrickson, 6-foot-7, played 11 games for the Warriors last season and averaged 4.2 points and 1.2 rebounds in 6.1 minutes after his two-way contract was converted. He also appeared in 35 games for the Santa Cruz Warriors in the G League and averaged 13.7 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 27.2 minutes

Derrrickson played three seasons at Georgetown and went undrafted in 2018.
