With warnings of severe thunderstorms, hail and possible tornadoes issued for parts of the South, a mother and her daughter were killed when strong winds flipped their trailer Sunday morning in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana.
The victims were identified as Francine Gotch, 38, and 3-year-old Neville Alexander, the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office said.
According to the Weather Channel, it is possible that a tornado touched down in the area and that more severe weather could be on the way for parts of Louisiana and Texas.
The suspected twister is part of a round of dangerous severe thunderstorms expected to impact the South into Monday.
