The product was sold at 59 locations in the St. Louis area for a limited run and became a popular selection. Now, they will be available at its 7,300 outlets across the United States by the end of the year.
The Impossible Whopper seeks to target meat eaters, according to CNN. It's designed to "give somebody who wants to eat a burger every day, but doesn't necessarily want to eat beef everyday, permission to come into the restaurants more frequently," Chris Finazzo, president of Burger King North America, told the publication at the time of the initial test.

BK isn’t the first to go vegetarian. Last year, White Castle announced it would start selling the Impossible slider, and Carl’s Jr. has been offering vegetarian burgers at select locations since January.
