A Douglas County deputy was serving a resident some civil papers about lunchtime Wednesday.
Despite her best efforts, she also ended up serving a goat its lunch.
A friendly but stubborn goat made its way into her patrol car while she was delivering the papers, and it refused to leave, according to bodycam video released by the sheriff’s office. She left her car’s door open because on several occasions, she had to retreat from vicious dogs.
“Come on, get out, get out!” the deputy pleaded as the goat munched on some paperwork.

Over the sounds of the goat’s bells, you can hear the deputy repeatedly asking the goat to get out as she grabs her papers from underneath it, as well as from its mouth.
The deputy was knocked to the ground at one point, but she said she wasn’t injured, according to the post. The goat was eventually shooed out of the vehicle, allowing the deputy to leave the home with quite a story to tell.
