1. Andersen, Kenn named Hall of Fame semifinalists

Of the 25 semifinalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2016, Falcons Morten Andersen and Mike Kenn were on the list announced Tuesday. Read more for the complete list of Modern-Era semifinalists for the Class of 2016.

2. Georgia State, two smaller groups bid for Turner Field

Though Mayor Kasim Reed has said multiple suitors from California to the Middle East have inquired about the new Turner Field site, it was revealed late Monday that only three groups made a play for the ballpark. As of now, the Georgia State team is the only one appearing to have a credible shot. Read more.

3. Hotline receives hundreds of calls about Georgia's massive data breach

A state hotline that opened Thursday addressing the data breach that exposed more than 6 million Georgia voters' personal information has received more than 440 calls from the public through Tuesday morning with more than half of the calls on Friday, the first full day of operation. Read more.

4. Peers key to recovery for Georgians with mental illness

Misty Williams writes about Lynne Smith, who first tried to kill herself at age 7, turned to alcohol at age 12 and started using hard drugs at age 16. Smith, who suffers from bipolar, anxiety and post traumatic stress disorders, discovered the Bartow County Peer Support, Wellness and Respite Center in Cartersville. 5. Pilot, passenger injured in plane crash near Gwinnett County home

When a small plane crashed in Lawrenceville on Tuesday afternoon, a pilot in his mid-20s and a teenage passenger escaped without life-threatening injuries. Read more.
