Q: I would like your column to print Vice President Joe Biden’s address for me.

—B Lucas, Atlanta

A: The vice president's official residence is a house at Number One Observatory Circle at the United States Naval Observatory.

“Every vice president since Walter Mondale has lived” there, whitehouse.gov states.

The vice president has offices at the White House and in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, the website states.

Write to Biden at the White House. The address is 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20500.

Or you can fill out an electronic form at whitehouse.gov/contact. Under the pull-down menu labeled “Message Type,” select “Reflections for the Vice President” and then complete the required fields.

Q: The week before Christmas, I heard a brief report about a memorial service in Washington for homeless people who died on the streets in 2016. Can you provide any information about this?

—Suzanne Sports, Peachtree City

A: A vigil for the homeless people who have died in Washington was held on Dec. 21.

Names of 46 homeless people were written on cards and then carried along 14th Street NW in Washington, NPR.org reported.

The National Coalition for the Homeless, the National Consumer Advisory Board and the National Health Care for the Homeless Council organize National Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day.

Other cities also held memorial vigils and services on Dec. 21.
