Q: Has there been any discussion/resolution as to what Cooper Harris was doing on the short ride from Chick-fil-A, where it was reported that he was active, to Ross Harris’ office? Little ones don’t usually fall so sound asleep so fast so early in the morning.

—Mabel W. Wilbanks, Fayetteville

A: It's not known if Cooper fell asleep on the ride from Chick-fil-A to Justin Ross Harris' job at Home Depot Treehouse Office, but the drive lasted about only four minutes.

Video from Chick-fil-A showed Cooper, who was 22 months old, was awake when he and his father left the restaurant.

Harris also has said that Cooper was awake when he was put in his car seat.

Leanna Taylor, Ross Harris’ ex-wife and Cooper’s mom, said during testimony that Cooper could quickly fall asleep, even in his car seat, the AJC reported.

Harris was found guilty Monday of malice murder, two counts of felony murder, first-degree cruelty to children, second-degree cruelty to children, sexual exploitation of children and two counts of disseminating harmful material to minors.
