Q: Enjoyed the new (SunTrust Park) stadium for Georgia-Missouri college game. We got the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) shuttle back to the parking lot, but how do you get the ADA shuttle to the game from the parking lot? Also, there were no chairs in the handicap area for the person accompanying the person with the handicap. We asked a security man for help, and he made the decision to get us seats. How would we handle this situation in future?

A: For the Georgia-Missouri game at SunTrust Park, the full supply of ADA chairs was not in yet, Braves spokeswoman Beth Marshall told Q&A on the News via email.

“We have them all now, so that shouldn’t be the case moving forward; however, there is an usher supervisor in each section, and they should be able to assist if a chair is not available,” she wrote.

To get to the stadium, Metro Atlanta Ambulance Service operates four 6-passenger and two 4-passenger golfmobiles for courtesy cart service, starting two-and-a-half hours before first pitch. Braves 9, Braves 11, Red Deck, Orange Deck and Delta Deck are the servicing lots. This service is on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations, according to the Braves. Upon request, parking attendants will call security command for courtesy cart pickup.

The shuttles for ADA motorized vehicles are at all other Braves-managed parking lots, beyond the ones used for the courtesy cart service. Twenty minutes before arrival, ticketholders can call 800-251-6015 to request pick-up at their lot. Guests also can ask the parking attendant to call the shuttle, but that will cause a delay of pick-up, according to the Braves.
