The Atlanta Humane Society's puppies scored a lot of points Wednesday during their Uber road trips to area offices. A few even signed contracts to play for new owners (they were adopted).
On Friday, however, the pups will play at home. Starting at 2 p.m., adoptable animals at the Howell Mill shelter will take sides to predict who will win Super Bowl XLIX. The puppies will have a choice of two cakes, one decorated for the New England Patriots and the other for the Seattle Seahawks. Whichever cake the pups choose is the team they pick.
So if you haven't decided yet whom to cheer for this Sunday, let the puppies pick for you.

Like most big games, the young pups are in the spotlight Friday. This weekend, however, you can run with the big dogs. All weekend, the adoption fee for the humane society's "super seniors" — animals older than 1 — will be just $49. This special price doesn't include platinum pets, which are puppies younger than 6 months or any other animals identified by management. You can check out the super seniors here.
