Police in Forest Park are investigating a fight that broke out between two youth football teams — along with their coaches and parents — at a game Saturday.

The altercation began shortly before the game was over between teams from Forest Park and Union City at Kiwanis Field on Lake Drive, the Forest Park Police Department said in a statement Monday.

“Several parents and onlookers became upset and rushed onto the field,” the statement said.

Two people were taken to the hospital following the fight, and several others left the scene before officers arrived at about 4:15 p.m.

Police, however, said they have videos of the incident and urged anyone with information to contact investigators at 404-366-4141.
