A Memphis police officer is accused of trading her badge for a bandana, posing as a kidnapper in a rap video starring alleged gang members.
FOX 13 reports that Memphis police officer Paris Glass is under investigation for her role in the rap video after a citizen complaint.
The controversial video is for the song “What’s Up [expletive],” performed by rapper P. London. The video shows a group of women kidnapping and executing people. The music video shows Officer Glass wearing a red bandana, a symbol associated with the Bloods street gang. In addition, the women in the video flash what appear to be gang signs and point handguns at the camera.
Glass has been with the Memphis Police Department since 2007. She has been placed on paid administrative leave while the investigation takes place.
