As if Donald Trump needed another outlet to get his word out during the 2016 election, something huge aired on the Republican nominee’s official Facebook page.
Right before the final presidential debate took place at UNLV in Las Vegas, Trump's official Facebook page started live-streaming pre-debate coverage. According to BuzzFeed News, the video grabbed the attention of about 200,000 viewers. The coverage showed former Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer and retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn discussing both Trump and Hillary Clinton and giving their predictions for the night. The live-stream then included a strong message from Ivanka Trump before a pro-Trump ad.
Around 10:15 p.m., over 170,000 people were live-streaming the video. Along with the video was this message: “If you’re tired of biased, mainstream media reporting (otherwise known as Crooked Hillary’s super PAC), tune into my Facebook Live broadcast. Starts at 8:30 EST/5:30 PST — you won’t want to miss it. Enjoy!”
It’s believed the live-stream could the beginning of Trump TV.
This comes just days after Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner reportedly talked to the founder of LionTree, Aryeh Bourkoff, about starting the network.
