A 12-year-old was one of a dozen people arrested on burglary charges in Columbus, police said.

Four of the 12 arrested were age 16 and under, the Macon Telegraph reported, and they all face charges of criminal gang activity.

Police Maj. Gil Slouchick of the Investigative Services Bureau told the Telegraph the arrests are in connection with 33 residential burglaries.
