Several agencies are searching for a 23-year-old woman who went missing Wednesday night at a park near Lake Lanier.

Lizeth Ruby Ruiz was socializing with friends at Lanier Point Park in Hall County when she became separated from them, Gainesville police Sgt. Kevin Holbrook said in a media release. Ruiz has not been seen since.

The search effort includes police and fire officials from Gainesville and Hall County, the Hall sheriff’s office and the state Department of Natural Resources.

The park has been closed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, which manages Lake Lanier.

Anyone with information on Ruiz is asked to call 911.

This is the fourth time since April someone has gone missing near Lake Lanier. The body of Jerry Kornmeier of Snellville was recovered May 9. Authorities confirmed a body recovered April 28 was missing DeKalb firefighter Jason Blalock. And a group of fishermen on April 3 found a badly decomposed body that turned out to be missing Winder teen Estelle Kouassi.
