Gwinnett County Public Schools start classes Monday, and that means school buses — lots of them.
During the 2015-16 school year, GCPS operated more than 1,900 buses, which made more than 52,000 stops each morning and afternoon and covered roughly 132,000 miles of road every day.
So odds are you, Everyday Driver, will encounter a bus sooner or later — so what do you do? Stop? Go? What if there's a median?
The Gwinnett County Police Department has produced a video to walk you through the pertinent traffic laws:

You'll also want to keep in mind that many Gwinnett buses are now equipped with stop-arm cameras — meaning you'll get caught red-handed (and red-faced) if you skirt the law.
In 2015, the county issued more than 23,000 citations and collected about $2 million in fines with the cameras.
