85 weird write-ins Fulton voters preferred over Trump or Clinton

This year's presidential election was quite exceptional.

Donald Trump won. Hillary Clinton won the popular vote and Fulton's vote. Gary Johnson barely made a dent.

Beyond that, Georgia also had 17 write-in candidates including independent candidate Evan McMullin of Utah and Green Party nominee Jill Stein.

But thousands of voters in Fulton County decided to express their ideals another way entirely, by casting an ineligible ballot for something else — fictional characters, pets, food — instead of choosing one of the 20 candidates offered.

Below, a list of 85 people and things that voters in Fulton County believe in :

  • Beyonce (additional music stars included Kanye West, Lady Gaga, Snoop Dogg, Willie Nelson, Justin Timberlake, Frank Zappa, Morrissey, Gucci Mane, Jimmy Buffett...)
  • Bill Gates
  • Bill Murray (other actors-who-someone-wanted-president: Harrison Ford, Matt Damon and Michael Cera)
  • Biscuit (presumed VP pick: gravy)
  • Bob Marley (and Tupac Shakur)
  • Bozo the Clown
  • Bret Michaels (musician who starred in VH1 reality show "Rock of Love," and apparently, "Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It")
