The free tax assistance program known as VITA will continue at Clayton State.

There had been some worry that the program wouldn’t return because of issues getting it coordinated. However, this will be the 25th consecutive year the campus has hosted the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. Accounting students from Clayton State’s College of Business are expected to return as volunteers in the program which provides low-to-moderate income taxpayers help with preparing their tax returns.

The program kicks off 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 14, 21 and 28 as well as Mar. 21 and 28 in Room T-152 of Clayton State’s College of Business, 2000 Clayton State Blvd., Morrow.
