Town hall set on Stockbridge sanitation switch

Stockbridge is getting out of the sanitation business after years of handling trash pickup for its citizens. A private company, Waste Industries, will begin service in the city May 1 according to the city’s website.

A town hall meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. April 6 in the council chambers at City Hall to allow residents to gather information and have their questions answered. Citizens can also phone City Hall at 770-389-7900 for more details.
