I don't have a problem with government that is adequately funded. I like mass transit, roads, stop lights, and food inspections. I have a problem with politicians who won't fund it because their benefactors oppose spending money on things that would actually help anyone other than them.
I took my 13-year-old niece on a four-day trip to see her grandpa - she was exhausted with all the texting, tweeting, pinning and blogging she feels compelled to do to keep up with the other kids. I feel so sorry for her.
