Q: A few months ago, an enlisted female Marine asked Justin Timberlake for a date to the Marine Corps Ball. Whatever became of this dream date for this Marine?

A: Cpl. Kelsey De Santis told Ann Curry on NBC's "Today" that Timberlake, who is a singer and actor, was "a complete gentleman" when he escorted her to the Basic School Instructor Battalion 236th Marine Corps Birthday Ball on Nov. 12 in Richmond, Va. De Santis had asked Timberlake to the ball via a YouTube invitation in July. "It was a complete honor to be able to share that experience with someone who is so selfless," De Santis told "Today." She also said: "He had a smile on his face the entire time and was taking pictures with people. We were talking and shaking hands." Timberlake detailed his experience on a blog on his website -- www.justintimberlake.com -- and ended the post with this sentence: "Thank you Corporal Kelsey De Santis. Thank you for inviting me. And, thank you for being my hero."
Q: I had an appointment on Nov. 14 at the Peachtree Summit Federal Building on 401 W. Peachtree St. When my son and I arrived there, we were turned away by the security guards, who informed us the building was closed. Other people arriving for appointments were also turned away. The guards refused to give us any explanation why this multistoried building was closed. Can you find out?

A: The downtown Atlanta building was shut down that day due to low water pressure that resulted in no running water in a substantial portion of the building, a spokesman told Q&A on the News in an email. The lack of running water meant that toilets couldn't be flushed. The building's pressure regulator valves were upgraded to fix the problem, and the building reopened on Nov. 15, the spokesman wrote.
