Q: How much money does the Atlanta Track Club make on the Peachtree Road Race?

-- Dan Kolber, Riverdale

A: With the cost of each Peachtree entry at $33, the Atlanta Track Club takes in about $2 million, Tracy Lott, a spokeswoman for the Atlanta Track Club, told Q&A on the News. "That money goes to things such as city services for the race, runner services, T-shirts, etc.," Lott wrote in an email. "Because the Atlanta Track Club is a not-for-profit organization, any remaining funds are used in furthering the organization's mission of inspiring and engaging the community to achieve health and fitness through running."
