Anne Palmer is concerned over a giant pothole.
“There is a large hole in front of the Platinum Federal Credit Union on Mistletoe Road, which is just off of North Druid Hills Road. This hole constitutes yet another tire hazard. Perhaps you can persuade DeKalb County workers to make this repair properly. They have made haphazard attempts before, which do not last for long,” she wrote.

Glenn Moore is tired of reckless driving on a busy street.
“I have sent emails to the Chamblee government concerning the speed and careless driving on Harts Mill Road. Traffic is getting worse as time passes with cut thru traffic as well as commercial vehicles, the number of which continues to increase,” he wrote.
Moore said both sides of Harts Mill Road are entirely residential.
“In addition there are three schools within walking distance that children and teens use for both going and coming home from school, elder dog walkers, joggers, etc. I know I am not the only person who has expressed concerns about traffic on this road which is approximately 1.5 miles long. Anything the AJC can do to help with a resolution to this problem would be appreciated,” Moore added.
Moore’s suggestion is that the speed should be reduced to either 25 or 30 mph from the current 35 mph with numerous speed bumps or with five or six sets of three- or four-way stop signs at the intersections. He has talked to other residents and they also prefer speed bumps.
We sent the problem to Chamblee and will let you know when we have a response.
