Update: Fayette (Fayetteville)
With thousands of roadways in the metro area and summer travel set to begin, our readers are always eager to tell us about problems on the local highways and byways. Late last year, a reader sent us an item about a busy highway.
The issue comes from the south of the city, where a reader is concerned about a state highway.
The reader complained about a section of Ga. Highway 85 near its intersection on the southside of Fayetteville with its intersection of Ga. Highway 92.
The reader sent us a photo to illustrate the partial repaving that has occurred on the road, but wonders when the whole route will be repaved and ready for heavy traffic.
We sent the concern to DOT and asked them to provide an update on the situation.

Item: Atlanta (Fulton)
A reader is hopeful something can be done about the lane lines in Midtown on Spring Street as you head into Atlanta.
With summer approaching, Midtown is expected to be busier than ever with residents and tourists.
“Particularly crossing over 10th Street headed toward Publix, drivers are on their own figuring how to maintain their lanes. I realize there is significant construction going on in the area. (I) can only hope to reline Spring Street is in the plans,” the reader wrote. We sent the item to the city and will keep you updated.
