Fred Roberts wants something done about a leak.
“Water is leaking from under the pavement at the intersection of Lindbergh and Melante Drive, just west of Cheshire Bridge Road. I have seen the flow for several months. I reported it to city of Atlanta, but I was not the first to do so. Thanks for looking into this,” Roberts wrote.
We sent the item to the city and will let you know when it is fixed.

Judith Richards is concerned about a dangerous intersection.
“I am writing to beg your help in getting information about the state’s plans to provide a safe solution for a dangerous confluence of roadways that meet the state road (Highway 5) in close proximity to each other. Banks Mill Road and Pool Road hit Highway 5 at the same point, and Dorsett Shoals Road meets Highway 5 no more than 20 yards to the north,” Richard wrote.
The situation is so dire that Richards had to look at alternative routes.
“Cars traveling north on Highway 5 are driving at over 50 miles an hour. This makes any attempt to enter Highway 5 from Pool Road, Banks Mill Road, or Dorsett Shoals Road, a terror filled event. Those of us who live on the Banks Mill Road side often drive eight miles in the opposite direction in order to enter Highway 5. I’ve called a number of state transportation offices - only to be told that it belongs to another department - where I leave messages - and never get a response. We’re scared, Please help us!” she added.
We sent her concerns to the state and will let you know if a plan is in place for the area.
