Lynn McKinney is concerned over some troubling metal grates in a busy neighborhood in the city.

“Three metal grates have been on Pine Tree Road, between Sydney Marcus and Canterbury, for months. They are not even, and sometimes are not nailed down. They are destroying tires and are a traffic hazard. Please help,” she wrote.

We sent her item to the city and will keep you updated.

Fixed! Atlanta

Last week, we told you about a reader’s concern over a closed road.

“Several weeks ago the section of West Wesley Road between Bohler Road and Moores Mill Road was blocked off for some work. Could you please find out when the street will be open again? There are literally thousands of cars that use this street every day and the inconvenience of having to detour miles out of the way is becoming a source of frustration, especially since there never seems to be anyone working when we check,” the reader wrote.

We heard back from the city that the road was now open.

New item-DeKalb County

A reader hopes a heavily traveled road that is beaten up and is the source of much frustration will soon be fixed.

“Can you please help put some pressure on the county to fix the section of North Decatur Road between Clairmont and Scott Blvd. There are numerous sink holes and actual asphalt missing up and down east and west bound lanes. I drive it everyday and witness at least one near accident because of drivers trying to miss these holes or damaged areas,” the reader wrote.

We sent the issue to the county and will keep you updated.
