Jack Klotz hopes a dangerous situation will soon be fixed that caused him considerable trouble one evening.
“This is the southbound exit off I-75 at Moores Mill Road. Pieces of rebar stick right out into the road and punctured my tire late one night coming home from working a Braves game in the rain,” he wrote.

A reader wants something done about roads in an historic neighborhood.
“Skipper Drive in historic Collier Heights is failing near the curb. The huge broken places have been pushed up near the curb, and to stay in your lane is to risk your car’s shocks or worse. Like a very bad roller coaster ride, Skipper Drive is just one of the failing streets in this area,” the reader wrote.
The reader added that Collier Drive is also damaged, with large potholes that have not been fixed in 20 plus years, but the reader wants Skipper Drive addressed first.

New item-Peachtree Road
Adele Sellers would like to see a center lane come to Peachtree Road sooner than later.
“Earlier this year, I heard that a center turn lane on Peachtree Road was in the works. Is that still the plan? If you ever drive on Roswell Road north of Piedmont, you will see how freely traffic flows since a center lane, with left turn signals, was installed,” Sellers said.
She said Peachtree traffic, especially in lower Buckhead, is such a nightmare with few left turn signals installed.
“At the corner of Peachtree Road and Pharr Road, the left hand lane is often blocked when four or more cars are stuck behind a car trying to turn left. Please put a left turn signal light there and at all similar locations now, even if the center turn lane is in the works.”
We let Atlanta officials know of her concerns, and will let you know when the issue is addressed.
