Following the third and final public hearing on the matter, the Suwanee City Council voted Tuesday, Aug. 25, to adopt a fiscal year 2016 millage rate of 4.93 mills, the same millage rate as the past three years.

The proposal to maintain the millage rate was made after receiving 2015 tax consolidation information from the county. Property tax revenue is expected to increase by 7.3 percent. Additional budget information: www.suwanee.com under Documents & Downloads.
