Woodstock city officials advise motorists to drive carefully approaching the downtown area from the west, as surveyors this week started working the entire length of Mill Street and along Towne Lake Parkway from Mill to Main streets.

“The land surveys will be used in creating designs for potential improvements” for vehicular and pedestrian access, according to a city announcement. The survey area is a busily traveled corridor, lined with professional offices, shops, residences and parking lots just west of downtown.

Those with questions about the project can contact the Public Works Department at 770-591-6000 ext. 1708.
