The Challenge Club at Pinecrest Academy will participate in a special holiday program in Cumming on Saturday.
The girls' club will visit a mobile home park in the community and present a "posada," an enactment of Joseph and Mary's search for lodging prior to Jesus' birth. Posada means "inn" in Spanish.
The ninth and 10th grade Challenge Club teams will meet at Pinecrest that morning and then go to the mobile home park. The girls will walk around the park on Holly Park Drive, enacting the posada and inviting neighborhood children to join in. The club will provide candy for the children.
