A number of road segments in Henry County saw their speed limits recently assigned and certified by the Georgia Department of Transportation, and all of them were approved by the Henry County Board of Commissioners at its Aug. 6 regular meeting.

The county’s own DOT reviewed the list, which must be approved before law enforcement is allowed to run radar at those locations, before the vote. Sites added or updated include segments of Honey Creek Road, McDonough Parkway, Avalon Parkway, Lester Mill Road, Moseley Drive, Moseley Road, New Morn Drive and Hwy. 20 as well as school zones on North Moseley Road and Tunis Road.

Exact locations can be found on the county’s website.
