The Snellville City Council will recognize the city’s farmers’ market Monday night by proclaiming October as Snellville Farmers’ Market Month.
In only its second year of operation, the Snellville Farmers’ Market recently won recognition as the top market in Georgia and finished third in the large-market category of a national contest sponsored by American Farmland Trust.
The market is open from 8:00 am to noon every Saturday through October 29th. The market is located on the Town Green in front of City Hall.
