Dave Emanuel, a Snellville planning commissioner, has announced that he will run for City Council.

Emanuel has served on the Planning Commission since 2009 and is a member of the Snellville Tourism and Trade Association. He has also served on an advisory committee at Snellville Middle School and Grayson High School.

“I’d like to help kick the city’s momentum into high gear because that will revitalize and protect property values, improve the business environment, reduce costs and improve services,” he said in a press release.
