Snellville’s Municipal Court will be closed April 22 and April 23 for court clerk training following the promotion of Kim Grimes to the position of chief court clerk.

Grimes, a two-year city employee and an eight-year veteran with the city’s probation service, and her two-member staff will participate in new, mandated training sessions conducted by the Georgia Municipal Court Clerk’s Council at the University of Georgia.

Citizens will still be able to pay fines online April 22 and 23 and the court office will be open for regular business Monday, Tuesday and Friday of that week.
