Smyrna will extend public golf agreement for 35 years

A concession and franchise agreement between Smyrna and Gonna Fly Now for the Fox Creek Golf Club property on Windy Hill Road has been extended for 35 years until May 2051 by a Monday vote of the Smyrna City Council.

Gonna Fly Now will pay the city an annual base concession fee of $20,000 per year, yielding $700,000 to the city.

Also, Gonna Fly Now will pay to the city a fee based on the number of rounds played on the public golf course during each 12-month period - 25 cents per number of rounds in excess of 30,000 rounds.
