More public parking will be coming to Smyrna.

The Smyrna City Council has approved the lowest bid of $288,152 to Tucker Grading and Hauling.

The new parking lot will be built at the intersection of Concord Road and Hollis Street.

Funding will come from the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax.
