The owner of a customized shuttle bus escaped injury Friday after the vehicle rolled into Lake Lanier in Hall County while attempting to back a boat into water.
The shuttle bus was pulled from the lake at the Duckett Mill Campground in Gainesville,
According to a Gainesville Times report, the owner was able to escape through the driver-side winder as the vehicle filled with water just before the lunchtime hour.
There were no injuries reported.
Duckett Mill is on Dawsonville Highway (GA 53), adjacent to Bolding Bridge.
