Peachtree City is accepting applications for an open seat on its Airport Authority.

The city government agency owns and operates Atlanta Regional Airport – Falcon Field, and consists of five volunteer members who serve five-year terms. Meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month at the Aviation Center, 7 Falcon Drive, and members are required to attend at least 80 percent of all meetings. Applicants must be legal Georgia residents who have lived in Peachtree City for at least six months. Fayette County and Peachtree City employees are not eligible for appointment, nor are elected officials of any government jurisdiction.
