Cobb's new Superintendent Michael Hinojosa was officially sworn in Monday at the district's headquarters by Cobb Superior Court Judge Reuben Green. The former Dallas leader's contract started July 1, but the board agreed to give Hinojosa 10 one-time vacation days for use during his first month on the job to aid his relocation from Texas.
