Roswell residents interested in the city's Local Energy Assurance Plan now under development can attend an informational meeting at 2 p.m. Sept. 22 in room 220 of Roswell City Hall, 38 Hill Street.
The LEAP program was created in 2009 to help communities plan for disruptions in their power supply.
The plan will map out a strategy to respond quickly and effectively to energy emergencies, reduce the risk of critical energy infrastructure and invest in renewable energy.
