Two rezoning requests that were originally on the agenda for the Nov. 14 regular meeting of the Henry County Zoning Advisory Board were withdrawn from consideration by the applicants before the meeting actually convened.

The first was a request for rezoning from RA (residential-agricultural) to R-2 Sewer for a single-family residential development on a 40.19-acre tract on Jones Road east of Harper Road. The second was a request for rezoning from RA and R-2 to MU (mixed use) for a 43.1-acre piece of property at 2080 Jonesboro Road, to allow a development that would consist of multifamily residences and office/commercial uses.

All rezoning votes by the ZAB are recommendations for approval or denial, with the final decision being made by the Henry County Board of Commissioners.
