The Henry County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously on April 17 to approve a rezoning request for a hospital use on a 10.4-acre site on Patrick Henry Parkway north of Holloway Road.

The change is from residential-agricultural to office-institutional. Also approved was a request for an amendment to the county’s comprehensive plan so that the future land use designation could be changed from mixed use and high-residency residential to office-institutional and remove the planned local street network to better accommodate the site plan, according to a staff report.
