Registration begins for Peachtree City parade

Registration for the 2019 Independence Day Parade in Peachtree City is underway and will be conducted online or in person only.

Participation in the two-mile July 4 event is limited to Peachtree City and Fayette County residents, businesses and organizations. City entities can sign up for free starting May 15; those in the rest of the county can register beginning May 22, with registration costing $25 for county residents, nonprofits, churches and politicians and $50 for commercial businesses.

The final day to register is June 24, but space is limited and may fill up before then. Entrants must consist of one car, truck or float, or single or tandem golf carts, and be patriotically decorated in a family-friendly manner.
