Gwinnett County is warning pet owners to beware after a cat found on Scales Road in Suwanee tested positive for rabies.

The county has asked anyone who sees any strange animals from the woods nearby to call 911 to dispatch an animal control officer. It also has advised people to keep their pets inside and to make sure pets are vaccinated for rabies.
