Candidates wanting to qualify for three seats in the Peachtree City government can register Aug. 21-25 at City Hall. The municipal election on Nov. 7 will be for the four-year terms of mayor and City Council posts 3 and 4, positions currently held by Vanessa Fleisch, Kim Learnard and Terry Ernst, respectively.

Candidates must be at least 21 years old, registered to vote, and have lived continuously in Peachtree City for at least six months before the election. Qualifying fees are $540 for mayor and $360 for the council posts, to be filed with the city clerk using cash, check or money order.
