Powder Springs to spend almost $41K on SPLOST projects

Several facilities in Powder Springs will receive improvements at a cost of $40,789.

From most expensive to least, they are:

  • $15,131 for the Bodiford House roof replacement to R.A.K Roofing and Construction.
  • $10,500 for the replacement of six water heaters in various city facilities to Atlanta Air Care.
  • $4,998 for Municipal Court electrical improvements to Knine All Systems Inc.
  • $4,825 for Police Department erosion improvements to Tucker Grading.
  • $2,800 for the Senior Center awning replacement to R.A.K. Roofing and Construction.
  • $2,535 for City Hall elevator improvements to Premier Elevator Co. Inc.

Funding will come from the 2016 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST).
