Piedmont Avenue will be closed between Ralph McGill Boulevard and Pine Street NE from 6 a.m. Sunday until 11:59 p.m. Monday, Atlanta police said. The closure is the result of a movie shoot, police said.
The detour route for drivers northbound on Piedmont Avenue will be:
• Turn right onto Ralph McGill Blvd. NE to Central Park Pl. NE
• Turn left onto Central Park Pl. NE to Pine St. NE
• Turn left onto Pine St. NE back to Piedmont Ave. NE
The following will be an alternative detour:
• Turn left onto Ralph McGill Blvd. NE to Peachtree St. NE
• Turn right onto Peachtree St. NE to Pine St. NE
• Turn right onto Pine St. NE back to Piedmont Ave. NE
The city will notify drivers with message boards on the corners of Peachtree Street and Ralph McGill Boulevard, Central Park Place and Ralph McGill Boulevard and Baker Street and Piedmont Avenue.
