Milton police are searching for two suspects who they believe burglarized four homes over a 10-day span in July.

Police have identified one suspect as Omisha Sands, a 19-year-old Cobb County woman, and have issued a warrant on felony burglary charges for her arrest. Police say the other suspect is a male, but didn’t provide any other information.

The burglaries all happened between July 20 and July 30 at vacant homes in Milton that were for sale and furnished. Police say that in all four cases these homes were not wired for alarms or under surveillance, and that the suspects entered the homes through a basement window or door.

Police say that they are analyzing more crime data and that their officers and detectives are meeting with residents in the impacted neighborhoods near the Brookside, Vickery Crest and Champions View subdivisions.

All homes that are for sale in Milton will be checked by officers as part of their regular shift duties, police said.

Anyone with information about this case should contact Milton police at 678-242-2570. Police are also asking residents with homes for sale to consider installing an alarm.
