Peachtree Corners received a grant from the Atlanta Regional Commission for $200,000 to conduct a State Route 141 Corridor Study. There is a match requirement of $50,000, for a total project budget of $250,000. This project will be coordinated with Johns Creek’s efforts along the same corridor.

The Peachtree Corners City Council voted recently to hire Wolverton & Associates in Duluth, the highest scoring firm of three who submitted quotes. The city will enter into a Consultant Services Agreement with the company for $232,800.

The project will involve a traffic analysis and recommendations for improvements at several intersections along Peachtree Parkway, including East Jones Bridge Road, at the entrance to the Forum, Peachtree Corners Circle and Spalding Drive. The final report for this project is scheduled for Summer 2017.
