A new program within the Peachtree City Police Department is giving residents more direct contact with law enforcement officers. Each of the city’s 179 neighborhoods has been paired with one of approximately 45 officers who have volunteered for My Community Officer, which gives residents an individual point of contact within the department.

Having a name and number for a designated officer allows citizens to contact them with non-emergency questions or concerns related to police business or such city-related matters as code enforcement and recreation.

A complete list of officers by neighborhood is posted at www.peachtree-city.org/MyCommunityOfficer.
