Norcross will auction surplus vehicles, equipment

The Norcross City Council recently authorized the sale of surplus vehicles and equipment by public auction. The city will auction one 2001 Ford F350, one 1999 Ford Econ Van, and a 2008 Dodge Ram. Surplus equipment includes a commercial leaf vacuum, a Go-John Arrow Board, an oriental rug, and a 1999 Mitsubishi Forklift.

The city will offer an inspection period 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 18 through March 22. Sealed bids must be received by noon on April 5. Award bids will be announced no later than April 8. Successful bidders must remove vehicle(s) and/or equipment from the property no later than April 12.
